In addition to editing her first full-length poetry manuscript — My Spirit Kamikaze — and preparing it for submission after submission, she is assembling a second manuscript, which recently revealed to her its name.
She co-edits the international literary journal Ouroboros Review, coordinates an IRL (in real life) poetry peer group, serves as columnist for Read Write Poem and writes reviews for Poets’ Quarterly. She is co-president of the Hudson Valley Writers Guild.
Prior to launching this website, Carolee blogged about poetry and the creative life at “i am maureen,” a site she currently uses as a private workshop space. (If you are a blogging poet, as well, and would like to offer comment or critique on works in progress, you may request the password by emailing caroleesherwood at gmail.)
