here we go again: a new challenge

October 7, 2009

Jill and I have issued a new poetry challenge at Read Write Poem. Go there to see the details of the prompt (and how to participate), but here’s the short version: write a twisted poem-a-day for a week on the body.

My first draft is posted at i am maureen (leave a comment here if you need the password). My body becomes an apple tree, and I live happily ever after. (I’m lying, of course, I can’t write a happily ever after poem to save my life! Good thing it’s October and weirdness is expected.)

I’d love to see it; password?

Me too, a password please. I’d love to read your poem.
