GOOD NEWS UPDATE: Volume II of Scythe is up; I have two poems in it: “Reasons to stay locked up at home” and “The magician offers a lame apology to his lover who began as a volunteer from the audience.” Thank you Joe and Chenelle Milford (editors/publishers)!

My NaPoWriMo draft for today is a response to the RWP prompt: “write a tanka about a humorous love incident.” Thankfully, since the rules were loose (no syllable counting, for example), I was able to manage the tanka, but I wasn’t able to conjure up funny.

I like the Poetic Asides prompt for today, as well, write a poem with the title “Until _______.” I may attempt that later. For now: the Monopoly tournament continues, and there are kids’ rooms to clean.

..DRAFT /

REMOVED BY THE AUTHOR FOR REVISION.

Tally: 7 = 3.5 RWP + 2.5 PAD + 1 Book of Kells.

You got the heart of the idea just right, using that middle line as a pivot. Picture perfect, I say.

Excellent, and such good, (nice, great!) news about Scythe. It is such a well-designed journal. I ❤ it!
