    Not be an overly literalist downer, but in fact as species are lost, ecosystems do lose their resilience. This process is accelerating.

      oh, i know you’re right. i was just thinking in terms that the seasons don’t disappear; they just wander off somewhere else and then come back to us. but yes, ecosystems and climates are changing and things are disappearing.

      between you and dale (his comment on day 1) i can’t get away with much! 🙂
