branching out into different software for iPad doodles

Attempted a few things to test out some of the tools in ArtRage for iPad. I really like the app! Plus, this butterfly (drawn using a photo from my summer vacation in Ogunquit) makes me happy because she reminds me of summer!

It will take a while to figure out how to be more precise with it, but it’s been fun so far. One thing I have learned already is not to draw too close to the edge of the page. It gets cut off when it is saved/sent.

This is really lovely! I may be getting an iPad soon, and I am not an artist like you, but I do like to sketch, etc. Is there a reasonable app that you would recommend?

donna, i love “adobe ideas” which is free. and the app i used for this — artrage — was $1.99. 🙂

there are lots out there. deb may have some recommendations, too. she and i did the dorky “show me your ipad apps and i’ll show you mine” dinner this summer in portland while drinking ginger cosmos. ahhhhh, my love!
