this watched pot is gonna boil!!

Today is big day in my blog world — letting go of one project (Big Tent Poetry) and starting another (A Fine Kettle of Fish).

I will miss BTP. I regret that in the last couple of months I haven’t been able to give the community there the time and attention it deserved. And of course, not being involved much defeats the purpose of hosting a poetry community.

So go check out the new site! Where we have been harnessing inspiration for community, we’re going to turn inward for a while and focus as much energy as possible on our own writing. As Deb said in a recent post at her blog, “It’s time to mix stuff up a bit, add some romance back into my relationship with poetry.”

I’ll still be blogging here. I may still post drafts here from time to time, too, but a lot of my word play is going to take place at A Fine Kettle of Fish. We have a welcome post up, and Deb has already posted a draft that has already inspired a response from Carolee. Here we go!!
