poem-a-day, november 1-4

November 5, 2011

so here’s where i am so far. links to the prompts are pasted at the end. not sure how this is going to turn out: enough cohesion for a long piece? but it is early. maybe something will emerge.

i am in portland (the “wrong” portland, says my east coast portland-based sister), and i haven’t taken time to post every day. but i am writing little bits.

part 1, you’ve already seen, though i edited some, and am repeating here according to the umbrella rule, section 1104, in the bylaws of The Association of the Assemblage of Random Bits:

POEM REMOVED FOR EDITING

///

november 1
write a procrastination poem / write a proactive poem

november 2*
write an epigraph poem

november 3
write a “sort of ________” poem

november 4
write a poem about something unexpected

*as much as i love the lines of the epigraph, borrowed from dale, and needed them to get that section started, i afraid i will abandon them as i go along. an epigraph won’t quite work right there. with gratitude. and apologies.

    Love the intimacy of rain, especially … the series is intriguing, as pieces, as a whole. xo
