POEM REMOVED FOR EDITING
write an addict poem
Some real stuff here (intense in feeling, and very vulnerable but open-sounding). Wow.
hi, hannah! thank you so much. it is hard to write when the emotions are raw. for me, anyway.
this is such a vivid snapshot. and i love the language.
thank you, miss!
am drawn to the flat delivery, the space left between the he said she said really works in this piece. solid stuff you are doing here (thought i’d let you know i’m following along, inspired.)
hi, sherry. thanks for your comment and thanks for reading! and i am pleased the delivery comes off flat here. thrilled, actually. i took one or two tiny kernels of real life and created a fictional encounter. i have been seething a lot in the last couple months, and am thrilled it comes off like it’s somewhat under control. 🙂
